Hello. I am Katie Pritchett.

I was born into the restaurant  industry following the successes of my families restaurants growing up.  Learning the skill sets I would need to one day run my own business.  I branched out on my own to start my restaurant in 2008 opening Katies Cafe and successfully ran it for 10 years.  At that point I knew there was a need for an exceptional caterer in the wedding and event industry.  Someone who knew how to make tasty food, but also someone who knew what was missing.  The wow factor.  So in 2018 I took a leap of faith and sold it all to doing catering only and kissing the restaurant goodbye.  The overwhelming response we got was unbelievable. Our first year out of the gate we completed over 60 weddings.  The next year we completed over 100.  We knew we had created a product and brand that people want to be a part of.  We don’t just provide food…we bring the elegance and class that every event is deserving of.  I love to make people feel like the star and that their event is the best that their guests have been to.  Too many times I have heard that “nobody remembers the food at a wedding”…it was to time to change that.  That’s when we introduced our displayed catering and charcuterie boards.  We are proud to say that we are the ONLY catering company in the Kansas City and surrounding areas that not only offers the beautiful grazing table for your cocktail hour but we also include free premium plastic dinnerware and flatware.  Having a large family I know what it means to pinch every penny and make sure you are getting your dollars worth.  It is my goal to make sure that when you book our catering that you are not only going to get the best products out there but it is also going to be financially satisfying as well.

Meet Jessica Conner.  She is one of our Lead Captains that has assisted and ran over 180 weddings! She is married to her wonderful husband and has 3 beautiful 3 children.  She has worked with Katie side by side in the food industry and catering industry for 10 years.  Whether it is helping in the kitchen, decorating your tables, helping with coordination, or completely running the crew…Jess is your girl!  Her goal is to always put the client first.  Knowing that every event is important and wanting to be a part of it and making it the most successful thing it can be is her goal with every event booked. “Watching the most special day come to life, cheering for your graduation or reunion, or being there for you in mourning, we are there for it all.   They say if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life.  This the is the job for me and I can’t wait to be there for your event!”

 

Meet Lauren Carolan.  She is one of our Lead Captains that has assisted and ran over 150 weddings! Lauren has a beautiful daughter that she lives every moment for! Lauren has managed multiple food industry corporations in restaurants and in the health care industry.  She is certified and knowledgeable holding many titles and certificates  and we value her work ethics, client skills, time management, artistic touch, and the level of professionalism she brings to the table.  She has worked side by side Katie in the kitchen, on the job learning and training new employees, and has taken all of her events to success! “Your event is as important to us as it is to you! We are looking forward to making you shine!”

Meet Stephanie Poe She is a professional baker and dessert designer.  She has been passionate about baking for over 20 years bringing her homemade treats to life.  Stephanie specializes in designer desserts with intricate detail! She is married to her wonderful husband and has two beautiful children. Stephanie has worked hand and hand with Katie in the kitchen, with event coordinating, decor specialist, on the job making sure that events run smoothly and flawlessly.  “Every single time you book with our catering service, you can bet that you are going to have the BEST response from your guests.  It is our goal for your guests to feel like it was best event they have been to and seen!”  Stephanie is also one of Wedding coordinators that will help set your mind at ease and take away all of the stress of planning your wedding.

 Meet Tina Jiminez. She is the mom to 7 amazing children and knows what it means to take care of a big family.  Tina is one of our head Chefs bringing delicious recipes to life.  She has been in the culinary world for over a decade and has added on multiple skill sets along the way.  She has no trouble bringing teamwork and dedication to the table for every event…making sure every meal sent out is perfect.
